Fire breaks out at a bar in Dharmatala near KMC, 5 fire engines at spot

A sudden fire broke out at a bar near the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) building in Dharmatala at around 7 AM on Monday, creating panic among locals and shop owners. Paris Bar, near a popular biryani eatery (Aminia), caught fire, and thick smoke engulfed the area. Firefighters responded quickly, and the situation was controlled before the fire could spread further.

The incident occurred at a busy intersection, where the congested surroundings made the situation more alarming. As the flames spread rapidly, shopkeepers and pedestrians rushed to safety. Firefighters arrived on the scene with five fire engines and started dousing the flames with hoses, covering the area in dense white smoke.
